When planning our West Coast trip last year, there was no doubt about our LA and Palm Springs hotels: Ace Hotel was a given. For the other stops on our road trip, I looked into travel blogs, but I also used travel guides (print indeed). I purchased both the Michelin USA West Travel Guide and 36 Hours USA & Canada. Both gave me quite a few options for our stay in San Francisco. While our top pick was already fully booked, we decided to go for our number two, The Inn San Francisco, and let me assure you: it did not disappoint.
The morning we left San Francisco we first visited Twin Peaks before driving off to Monterey and Big Sur. We waited until the final moments in San Francisco to experience this breathtaking view and it proved to be the best moment to do so.
When I come to think of it, I’m definitely consumed by wanderlust. Nothing makes me more happy than the idea of exploring the world. Plus, when I have concrete plans for that matter, it’s hard to focus on anything else.
