The cat’s out of the bag! Back in August I finally pulled the plug and purchased a new bike. Not just any bike, though, but a full-on race bike: the Lexa SL by Trek.
I’m always in for a cool project and the project I will be telling you about today is so much more than that. It involves cycling and a (cycling) museum. Two of my favourite things in the world? A killer combo!
I have to be honest here: Japan was never really on my travel bucket list. However, since following along on Lena’s journey through the Land of the Rising Sun, I changed my mind about Japan. Add the fact that Japan has the coolest ideas brought to reality nowadays, it might even climb higher on my bucket list.
You all know by now that I have a keen interest in cycling. While this is still a pretty much passive interest, I do intend to hop on a bike in the (near) future and set goals for myself (l’Alpe d’Huez anyone?). In case I do become a keen active cyclist, I know where I’ll be staying if I ever travel to Japan: Hotel Cycle.
